Googles SEO Report Card [PDF]

Google hat im Webmaster Central Blog die Ergebnisse eines internen SEO-Vergleichs veröffentlicht:

The project looked at the main pages of 100 different Google products, measuring them across a dozen common optimization categories. Future iterations of the project might look at deeper Google product web pages as well as international ones.

Das Ziel der SEO Report Card ist primär, SEO-Schwachstellen bei Google zu finden. Außerdem:

  • to help users find our pages more easily in search engines
  • to fix bugs that annoy visitors and hurt our pages’ performance in s
  • to serve as a good model for outside webmasters and companies
