Dan Rampton, Program Manager bei Yahoo! Search, hat ein Ranking-Update des Yahoo-Index bekannt gegeben:
The Yahoo! Search engineering teams are rolling out updates to crawling, indexing, and ranking algorithms. Similar to previous updates, you may notice some ranking changes and page shuffling during the process, which we expect to complete over the next few days.
Eine Kommentatorin bei Search Engine Land über das Serach Update:
I have some RSS feeds set up via Yahoo! Pipes to monitor backlinks and the speed seems to have quadrupled in the last day, where before I could expect to see about 50 links upon logging in every morning I’m now seeing upwards of 200 and watching them fly in all day.
