Google bietet 68 Mio. US-Dollar für den Video- und Voice-over-IP-Anbieter Global IP Solutions (GIPS).
Emerick Woods, CEO von Global IP Solutions, zu der bevorstehenden Übernahme:

Zu den Kunden von GIPS gehören bekannte Namen wie Nortel, Oracle, Samsung, WebEx, Yahoo! und AOL. Das Unternehmen wurde 1999 in Schweden gegründet und hat sein Hauptquartier in San Francisco.
