Google vs. Viacom: Klage abgewiesen

Ein New Yorker Gericht hat gestern die Klage von Viacom (Paramount, MTV) gegen Google (YouTube) abgewiesen. In der Begründung heißt es, dass Google durch den Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) geschützt und als Inhalteanbieter nicht per se für Urheberrechtsverletzungen durch Nutzer verantwortlich sei. Google habe auf Löschanfragen von Viacom stets schnell reagiert.
