Neue Google Maps Onebox

Google hat das Design und den Inhalt von der in SERPs integrierten Google Map Onebox geändert. Wie mehrere Quellen berichten, scheinen die Änderungen bereits weltweit sichtbar und demnach kein einfacher Test von Google zu sein.
Mit dem neuen Design wird der Fokus auf Google Places gelegt. Barry Schwartz fasst die Neuerungen zusammen:
The main change is that clicking on the OneBox result doesn’t take you to the business owner’s web site. It now takes you to the Google Places Page for that business owner. This is because Google is placing the web listing above the OneBox result.
Weitere Änderungen:
- The search result for the OneBox match shows above the OneBox map now.
- The “More info” link has been renamed to “Place page”
- Reviews don’t show unless they meet certain criteria
- A maps ballon/marker shows near business name outside of the map
