Google bestätigt FTC-Ermittlungen

Im offiziellen Google-Blog hat das Unternehmen die Ermittlungen der Federal Trade Commission bestätigt. Die US-Wettbewerbshüter wollen prüfen, ob Google seine Vormachtsstellung in der Websuche genutzt hat, um Konkurrenzprodukte zu unterdrücken. Google will mit der FTC kooperieren.
We respect the FTC’s process and will be working with them (as we have with other agencies) over the coming months to answer questions about Google and our services. It’s still unclear exactly what the FTC’s concerns are, but we’re clear about where we stand.
Informationen der Financial Times zufolge haben sich auch die Generalstaatsanwälte von Kalifornien, New York und Ohio des Falls angenommen.
